About us

More than half of the Uckermark is designated a protected landscape. We want to preserve and share the countless freshwater-lakes, woodland swamps, natural river floodplains and rare animals and plants. The region is sparsely populated; only 120.000 people live on 3000 km2. Tranquility, wideness, unspoiled nature also inspire artists and creative minds and shape the Uckermark.
