Sustainability
The Quick, Simple, Online Sustainability Qualification for Tourism Professionals
The TourCert qualification process stands out for its simple and fast implementation in the field of sustainable tourism. Depending on your own pace, the qualification takes around two weeks and can be completed easily alongside day-to-day business using our digital tool. A sustainability officer selected from within your company completes all required steps and serves as your main point of contact.
Through our interactive e-learning module “Travel for Tomorrow Basic,” which is part of the process, your designated officer independently acquires the essential knowledge. You can find more details on the exact process in the five steps outlined below.
Qualification for the Tourism Sector
A Sustainability Qualification
Tour operators, accommodations, tourist information centers, and other leisure providers can take part in the qualification, as well as companies from tourism-related sectors such as gastronomy and retail. Depending on the type of company, the self-assessment at the core of the process is tailored by our team.
The TourCert Qualified recognition is initially valid for one year. To continue beyond that, the improvement program must be updated annually and the yearly fees must be paid.
